Over Already?

Our Very Merry Christmas
was shared by all
of us!
is it already over?
We have spent the past 7 days celebrating Christ's birth with family and friends.
Here are some of the highlights of the past week.....

Christmas Eve church service
Hanna with her Uncle Kyle

Coleman holding his baby cousin, Sofia and family friend, Gardner Guillory

We spent on evening country dancing, riding a mechanical bull (we all rode) and

Hanging out at the house

Playing at the park

In-N-Out Burger and Bre's 30th Birthday Celebration

and so much more!
It was a wonderful time and one that all of us will always remember.
The Guillory family was a true blessing to have for the holiday.
We are happy that we get to enjoy Bre, Kyle and the boys for a few more days
before they have to head back to Washington.
One of the Christmas gifts our grandson's brought Hubby and I was a cold for each of us!
So we are back to sniffling and sneezing again...but it's worth it.
More pics to come...

Christmas is arriving in the mail and on airplanes!

After forgetting to check our mailbox for 3 days...
look what was waiting for me!
This is the darling little pinkeeper that I won from
Viv's give-away.
He's handmade from Viv and as cute as can be.
I quickly found a cozy spot for him on our tree.

But as soon as Christmas is over he will be residing in my studio.

I spent one day last week baking 11 1/2 dozen cookies for all our
Christmas company.

I'm pretty sure that between the 4 grandkids, two son-in-laws and daughters, and
the 6 Guillory kids, these cookies will disappear quickly.

On Friday the whole family attended Hanna's kindergarten Christmas play.

She got to play the tambourine and knew all the words to all the songs and]
all the hand motions. The whole class really did an outstanding job.

The play was so cute.

Hanna was completely surprised when her cousins showed up at her performance.

They love to be together.
Sofia has taken a special liking to her cousin Coleman.

She thinks all these loud, crazy boys are pretty funny!

Especially when they dance for us.

Hubby and I are the happiest when we have all our kids and grandchildren together.
These are such special times and all of us really enjoy spending time together.
Our family will be complete on Tuesday evening when our son-in-law, Kyle arrives and then
we can really "get this party started"!
Now I must head to bed as I have exercise at 5:30 AM and then our company starts arriving for Christmas.....the Guillory family of 8!

OH MY GOSH I WON !!!!!!!

Tonight I finally had a chance to open my
blogspot. I saw that I had a comment from one of my favorite blogger/artist, Vivian, of Viv On A Whim
She has a wonderful blog and she is hoot! AND she is an awesome creator. I love EVERYTHING she makes.
ANYWAY.... she had a giveaway and guess who won???

No kidding! I won this adorable little snowman pinkeeper.
I feel like I just won the LOTTO!!
can you tell I'm thrilled.
OK, OK, I need to calm down

Alright, this past week was NUTS! We had 6 parties in 8 days and went out to dinner with friends one night and last night we attended a Christmas Choral Concert. All were great, but the best was our
3rd Annual Christmas Progressive Appetizer Party
(that's a mouthful)

We invited 40 people of which about 34 made it. Everyone started at our house and we progressed over the next several hours through 4 more homes. It's always a great time even if we are a little slow getting out of bed the next morning.

These two lovely ladies are my dear friends, Sue and Rosie.

We were able to enjoy being outside around the firepit at two of the houses.

You can tell by the picture that Hubby was having a great time.

So we are well into the party by now...

Marty and Sue were our two resident gimps. Both had surgery on their foot and had just gotten their cast off and now are wearing these big boot things. To keep in the spirit Marty came with twinkling Christmas lights wrapped around his boot.

Now it's time to get serious and get some major baking done. My daughter and her two boys arrive this Thursday evening. On the 22nd our son-in-law, Kyle, along with our friends the Guillory family (with 6 of their 7 kids) arrive. Tomorrow night I am taking a class to learn how to stamp on silver jewelry. We have another party this Wed. and then I am attending a cookie swap and have to take 3 dozen cookies to that. Luckily I will come home with just as many!
So tomorrow the flour and sugar will be flying, but the house will smell good.
Oh, and I broke tradition today.
Don't hit me......
I sent EMAIL Christmas cards.
I know, I know, you are all clucking your tongues in disgust. But there is no way that I can get it together to get a picture taken, get cards printed, write a Christmas letter and get them all addressed and mailed before Dec. 25th.
So I downloaded IncrediMail
and sent a picture Christmas email card.
So there you have it. Zip, seal, stamp, THE END!
